The estate is on a hill that dates back some 24-36 million years made of galestro soil from the promontory and the red-orange sands of Donoratico after which the Poggio (hill) Rosso (red) Estate is named.
It is home to our Merlot, Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Vermentino and Viognier vines.
These grapes are able to transmit the unique characteristics of the earth and the terroir in which they are grown affected by its vicinity to the sea and non-stop winds.
